I started to like photography when I was 16 years old; I used to have an old little camera, beginning to take pictures of my family, friends, places that I've gone to, etc...
I took art classes, journalism, and AV Tech classes. I was fascinated to be a part of those classes; I was the only one to take perfect pictures and post them on the school website. When I started college, I took some photography courses and was part of the photography group; I enjoyed those classes, and was well thought out by the professors.
So I decided to go a little deeper, back to the beginning. I got serious about photography when I bought my first digital point-and-shoot (a Nikon 3100). Before that camera, I casually photographed friends and wildlife animals with my Sonny A1, but the digital world opened my eyes to what was possible with photography. I had this little camera in my pocket that I could take anywhere. I could take seemingly unlimited photos of anything I wanted compared to film. This meant lots of pictures of friends and family.
Why Do I Love Photography?
Well, there's some reason why I do this not as a job site but more as a hobby. I usually do both, but I enjoyed it most of my life.
Photography is my passion because I can create art itself, like a painting that I just can paint with a pencil, but it's already created by a digital camera and printed and hanging on the wall so people can look at what I create.
